Carla Hagen is an award-winning author, radio show host and retired Hennepin County attorney. She engaged Red Mood Marketing to help with a full marketing launch strategy for her second novel, Muskeg. That strategy began with the development of her book cover, and that book cover had to be worthy of not only Carla’s words, but her deep love and devotion to the place in which the novel is set, the bog country of Lake of the Woods County.

Red Mood Marketing began with the concept for Muskeg’s cover, art directed the photo shoot and developed a beautiful one of a kind cover that reflected the magic of a Northwoods’ bog. The cover set the tone for the development of Carla’s new website, her social media, author’s kit, e-newsletter and book trailer. Red Mood also managed the PR and wrote the news releases for the launch of both her hometown Baudette, Minnesota launch and her Minneapolis launch. developed a strategy for book review outreach.
